Kimberly Munday

I am a displaced Bay Area gal currently living in Georgia. My twin daughters are grown and on their own so, my husband and I are empty nesters. Speaking of my husband, he is a wonderful man but I am a golf widow. I play as well but not to the extent he does. I spend a large amount of time with my best buddy Sheba, my 3 year old Cattle Dog/Labrador mix. She understands me.
Information
Past Experience

I worked for Shaklee/Yamanuchi Pharmaceutical from 1995 to 1997 in the Engineering Department. I did double duty in the Lab and with the Engineers. I was fortunate to be there when the new 55 million dollar (doesn't sound like much now) building was being designed and built in the Stanford Business Park. During that project I was really a glorified gopher but I learned a lot about networking, and the physical aspects about computing. I could build one if someone asked me to. After that when the company moved from the East by to Stanford on the Peninsula I declined to go with them. I would have added a horrendous amount of time to my commute. I could have gone but I would not have seen my children very often. I took a job in HR for UC Berkeley which allowed me to hone my database skills. That was from 1997 to 1999. Since then I have been in the South doing things like teaching GED preparation to inmates in the County jail, Alcohol and Drug Counseling (not to use them), and different jobs more along the humanities line. After several knee surgeries I decided to try something where I could be my own boss. The logical place to look of course was the Internet so here I am.

Associations

I am pretty new at this so I do not have any associations to speak of in the computer world, but I do hope to one day.

Education

I was educated on the West Coast but not in computers. I was a Biology major. I took Dos at Berkely Adult School back in 1993 if that tells one anything.
