Serves as the point of contact for all photographic and website inquiries for the company. Uses photography equipment to photograph and document special events for use in military and civilian news media, web-based material, and historical documentation. Uses software to process all photographic work when needed, i.e. retouching, color correction, scratches, processing defects, lighting problems, and digital anomalies. Creates prints or high resolution digital files to the client when asked to provide them. Creates posters, cards, newsletters and other graphic designs utilizing the photographs and other high resolution digital designs created to assist with unit and army wide programs and promotions. In charge of releasing photographs and news articles over different social media websites. Developed and implemented procedures on archiving photos taken for news and historical documentation purposes. Manages web site pages containing newsletters, division information as well as subordinate command information and links to other web sites that were written using XHTML, CSS and HTML. Uses and maintains state-of-the-art digital cameras, scanners, desk printers, poster printers, computers and other high-cost equipment on a daily basis. Assists with the ordering of new equipment and office supplies.
